Water wetter should go a long way to stopping it, but it may not entirely, you really need to take everything apart at a regular interval to check it, a little bit of antifreeze will significantly reduce the chances of gunking things up, also try and get distilled water for your rig as it has far lower mineral content to start, if your rad and block are both copper your chances of keeping from gunking out are much better as like metals dont corrode nearly as easily as dissimilars

By my understandings all you really need to worry about the corrosion majorly if you have dis-similar metals in the system, ie copper block, alluminum radiator. Which is the most common. But I agree, use distilled, its cheap and you can get it nearly anywhere... a gallon for maybe a buck or two... The Water Wetter will do alot to prevent it, but it might help to add just a little anti-freeze to it... And of course its always good to do preventative maintenence... Break it down and clean it out once every few months...

there will allways be a bit of corrosion but nothing to worry about, i would empty your system now and again just to make sure there is no build up of stuff and no bits in the water
