I would like to build speakers like this from parts express

My question is if the driver is 75w RMS and the tweeter is 25w RMS how would you go about the wiring? Let's say for example I want 7 of these, should I look for a reciever that does 100w RMS x7 ?

Also what about the cabinets with 2 woofers like this:

Would this need 75+75+25w RMS? Most recievers I saw go up to 100wRMS and then they become VERY expensive after that.

The RMS power rating is really more of a guide to how much power the speakers can handle. So even though the woofer and tweeter is rated for XX RMS power you dont really have to supply them with that much.

With most receivers they may say 100 watts per channel but unless your looking in the $1000 range you wont actually be getting that much power. But dont worry cause you'd be very suprised how little power you actually need.

What numbers you'll be looking at is the true RMS output of the receiver (true RMS meaning the receiver is measured with all channels running and from 20 to 20Khz). You will also look at the speakers sensitivity (such as XXdB 1w/m). With those numbers you can get a rough estimate how loud they will play.

So in general just look for a receiver from a good company that has the features you need.
