For some reason, I didn't update firefox at all or update any extensions ( i don't use any), I am no longer able to log into gmail. I tried Gmail's and firefox's support to no avail. I also went to www.mushkin.com and for some reason the website shows up as a black background with black text making it unreadable but on IE it shows up as a black background with white text. What happened? I tried reinstalling firefox to no avail.

try uninstalling firefox, then make sure the directory itself was deleted.
go to "c:\documents and settings\{your user name here}\application data\" make sure the folder "mozilla" has been deleted. then go back, go to your "local settings" folder and make sure there are no mozilla folders there. once you have cleared these, download the latest version of firefox and install it.

hope this helps!
