Hey Folks,
I just got a X-Fi and I want to be able to hook-up both my headset(for gaming) and speakers; and be able to switch between the two. I'm probably just stupid but I can only get both to work(using output jack 1 and 2) by selecting a 4.1 speaker system. But then my headphones are only recognized as rear-speaker. Is there a way to select what output type should be for each output jack?
Thanks for any help.

I got my stereo system hooked to the card and the headphones hooked up thru the front panel. This option doesn't work if you didn't buy an X-Fi with panel.

Plantronics makes a switch you hook both up to. Just click the switch and headsets on one and speakers on the other. I bought it at either CompUSA or BestBuy.

Its a male 1/8in to 2 x 1/8in female switch.

Another question, in order to have a mic-in and line-in I need the 3-1 Flexi-Jacket. Where do you get one? Creative is starting to **** me off.
And is it even possible to connect the front panel audio connections of my case to the X-Fi Xtrememusic? I bet no, that's why you have to buy the Platinum to get the break-out box. And of course, I can't even buy one of those if I wanted to.
