Dell Smartstep 250N USB 2???

Hi, i cant find any info, but i was under the impression that my laptop, a dell smartstep 250n (2.4ghz p4 512mb, etc) had usb2.... however every time i hook up a usb 2 device i get a warning saying that i am connecting a usb 2 device to a usb 1 slot, and will experience slower transfers...
Anyone know if infact this computer only supports usb1?
If it is infact usb2, how do i get it to work????

havent found out if the lappy supports usb2, so i just went out and bought a pcmcia usb 2 adapter card. Works well.
Does anyone have one of these? I ask cause there is an additional cable that supplies extra power to the unit... the cable has a usb and ps2 plug... does anyone know if i should plug in both cables, or just one of them? The card didnt come with any instructions, and i havent found any online.
