I found this program on the new MaxPC Magazine disk.. and i actually like it...

Skype rocks. I use it all the time when im playing with my buddies on in a RTS or if were in different rooms at a LAN. Really good proggy.

Skype rocks. Quality is clear and it is fairly cheap to call landlines and stuff.

yup $11 for 10 hours of phone calls.... altho i wouldnt recommend it for full time calling a good ol comcast digital phone $20 a month covers that.

skype is great - my family (parents) uses it a lot. They are elderly and don't type very well, especially my dad. In an IM session with him, I see his status is that he is typing, and I swear two minutes later, his response is something like 'that sounds good' Oh well at least they are 'connected'

I have been using skype for over a year now, no complaints, it works great to keep in touch with family on the other side of the country and to connect with my buddies during online gaming.

its a good program but almost no one here uses it. everyone is on M$N and its so frikkin bloated i hate it.

I use it to make normally long distance phone calls for free, and talk for.....many many hours.

I have used Skype to speak with a friend in Japan. The clarity was shocking. It's like talking to someone in the room. A very impressive piece of software!

I use skype to interview people for the Unofficial OCF podcast that I run...

My internet connection is so crappy though... that skype will often make a very bad connection... ARG!!!

I had alot of problems with skype. It would hog all the bandwidth and d/c other computers/ps2.

The clarity of Skype in insanely amazing. My Mom calls me from the US on my cell phone in Iceland and it´s more clear than when she used to call by normal phone. But I usually just talk PC to PC now since it´s free. Also use MSN a lot. But not MSN messenger, use GAIM.
