Power DVD vs. AOL

Wow, it seems like so long since I've been in here looking for information...well, I guess it has. My job has been keeping me busy...but I digress...


I want to know if anyone can offer any suggestions on a little problem I've been having lately (possibly some sort of glitch): If I go online right from the start after powering up, the AOL software doesn't give any problems with getting on, but if I watch a movie or something with my Power DVD, then turn it off and go to get online, AOL will not get a connection and I usually have to restart and then AOL will work to get connected. I don't know why AOL won't connect and why the DVD thing would have anything to do with it.

I'm confused

Is this AOL dialup or AOL highspeed?

It used to be on dial-up, but it is now on thier High Speed thing. I am on a router as well, because my wife's computer is also on the high speed. I don't know if that has anything to do with anything...
