alrighty. story goes, fianly downloaded at tool. and nowi have an erge to go for as much as possible (btw i got 360/335 over the stock 325/310, not bad for the first time. did not increase voltage either) anwho. my plan is to maybe find the really nice 1u copper heatsicks used in severs and mount it on the gpu, and one on the back also(using thermal pads or something simler no cudtive etc..) but then i look at my ram.... and i want to get a good sized heatsink on it and also have good air flow over them all. i was thining about buying a zalmon or other high ened heat sink, and chpoin it up, thne using ducted work to make sure the y get nice cool air, which wil then be sucked out of the back of the case asap. im curious of who hve all tried this, if anyone, and there out come, and also if im jsut being stupid let me know. i have the need for speed!

I assume your card is a 9800ish? Then I'd reccomend an Ati Silencer. They've done wonders for me.

ok, so im ordering my water colling setup on monday, and ive got a gpu block coming with it.BUT my card has no ram sinks(sept the crapy ones i added) SO what if i take this heatt sink http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835118102 and chop it up into 8ths or more and mout the chunks onto the ram, i know itll take ALOT of fine cutting, but let me take care of that. i jsut wish they werent out of stock :eh?: oh and i know ittl take up a few pci slots etc... but ive got the room, already checked. heck if someone has one for sale id buy it :P good idea or bad? heck maybe cut it into 4ths and put one on 2 pices of ram :D
