you guys are pretty good about caring for the tem members, so i thought i would give you an update.....i got my sandra cpu score back where it should be....this was slowing down my wu production. i guess when i did my last bios update...it slowed it down by 300pts.....but i just did another, and im back up 300+pts....so i am happy. i guess running seti 24/7 is not such a bad thing after all.

Hey, of course we all care. Good to see that you got your system's efficiency back up. Don't worry about running your PC/s 24/7 with seti. There are a few of us on the team that have seti farms, and running seti 24/7 has not affected any of our machines.
Keep on Crunching.

epox does the versions on when they are released, or at least when they are written, so i went from 9/17 to 10/17. a month makes a difference....back to the good old 4.5hrs/wu.
thanks guys....if not for you, i would have lost interest in crunching so hard a long time ago.

A mistery solved. The case of the unknown bug finally closed.
It's good you have found the cause of your slowdown. We do care about the random bugs that happend every now and then.

Really, it's great to hear that. I'm also especially please that you know what was slowing you down, cause that was really bothering me. :)

it was killing me...because im oced higher than my friend, and he was getting much better scores. i just turned in a normal .45ar wu in 4.3hrs....so things are looking up. now i can get back on track with 5/day or so.

Have you tried changing to CAS2?
That took about 20min off my WU's.

You probably are.
I know I am. My average is about 4 hours per WU. That's really anywhere between 3:40 to 4:08. Since I have about 100MHz more than you, your average times sound just about right.
