View Full Version : Is Raid 0 faster using 2 IDE controllers?

Say I have 2 hard drives which I configure to raid 0. Will there be a speed increase if I use one IDE controller per hard drive, instead of one IDE controller with both hard drives?

Yes. With raid you want to have each Drive on it's own channel.
