This is what happens when I start my compy:
I get to the login screen ok.
I log in.
I get to see the desktop.
Then the screen blinks once, and everything is frozen. :(
To get it going I have to restart my compy several times until it stops freezing when the screen blinks. (Then the compy can be on for days without any failures. So the error is only at startup.)THIS IS VERY ANNOYING!
I'm running Windows 2k. Tbird 1,33 @ 1,53. Asus A7M266 mobo. Asus 8200 Deluxe driver ver.: 5.13.01.2181

Any help would be greatly appriciated!

how is your AGP aperture size set to?
try decreasing it if youre using the same amount of your system memory or more than it.

I just asked in case there was some easy way to correct this. I'm gonna reinstall my compy in a week or two anyway when I get some new hardware. Besides... if I were to relate all the dif. drivers I currently have installed on my system, it would take me a while. (that might be part of the problem :D )
