Adding new folder to the start menu

Just wondering how do you add new folders to the start menu and the all programs folder?

You can drag anything from My Computer in to the Start menu. If you drag executable files or folders it will not be like most Start menu entries, because they are typically shortcuts or .ink files. Keep that in mind so you get the type of Start menu entry that you wanted, be it folder or direct shortcut.

right click on the start button, select "Explore all users". Then create your folders in the Programs folder.
