Audigy 2zs and Gigaworks s750

I recently upgraded my speakers to creative gigaworks s750s from my old altec lansing 5.1 setup.

I have already set my soundcard to 7.1 in windows. But while playing games will I notice the 7.1 in any games besides half-life 2 for example.

there is no sound coming from the side speakers in most of my games is this normal ?

In other games such as F.E.A.R and BF2 I don't notice the 7.1 unless I upmix the 5.1-7.1 on the speaker contol panel.....

any suggestions?

ok...I downloaded the newest creative console and the new beta drivers from creative now I think....I fixed my sound issue...so silly of me.
