Desktop mayhem

Recently I've been having this problem, where if another user changes their desktop, mine changes also. Im using WinXp Service Pack 2 Any idea what could cause this?

When you change your background, does the other users background change too? Or is it just when they change yours?

sometimes it does sometimes it doesnt..this doesnt always happen ..thats why its so weird

Is the other user an Admin as well ?

Im not sure if it will work but you could try ultramon and set up a profile which gets added to your startup list and lets you choose your resoloution etc so if the desktop is 800x600 when you login youll get 1024x764 when ultramon loads... im not sure if it would work as ultra mon is a dual moniter program
