IExplorer and Gaming Issues

I had two issues arise recently, and they seemed to coinside...

IExplorer locks up, and is completely unusable. BUT if I leave one IE open I can open a second one and it works fine, while the first one is frozen.

Multiplayer games (online) suddenly are all jerky and ****. I play other computers on the network (that use the computer as the hub) and have no problems, but the hub computer has jerky graphics in multiplayer only... 1st player is fine.

Sounds like it could be a spyware/malware issue.

Are you using ICS(Internet Connection Sharing)? That might be allocationg bandwith to the other computers and screwing up your connection. I never used it so I don't know how it works but just a thought.
