View Full Version : Problem with 2.1
2.1 is starting a new wu evry time I shut it down and start it up. I have lost several this way. Is there some special way to turn it off besides using quit.

Hmmm. I have not seen that, but I do not shut my client's down often so maybe it is a bug in them all.
What are you running, text only or graphical?
I am on win2k and they recomended the graphical. It has happened like 3-4 times. I just figured it out whgen I shut it down to run some benchmarks. I was half way thru a villin. Which is how I noticed it. I hope they fix the bugs in it soon. Do you think I should switch to the text only?

I think ebola posted a message about that same thing except he said that it was restarting on the same protein, nit getting another one.
Sounds like they are related though.
I am running a mix of graphical and text only and have not had problems with either so I'm not sure I'd recommend going to the text only. But, since it is restarting you, you could try it. Do a few frames, stop the text only version and restart in and see if it picks back up.
I hope they get the issues worked out soon too. If I ever released a product like this, my boss would have my head.
I guess you are not working for MICROSOFT!!!:D
I think I will just not shut it down unless it just turned in a WU.

I wish....Then I could throw Quality Control out the window...:p
We need F@H2 SP1....LOL :)
I read somewhere that vijay said it would be out soon. Not soon enough for most of us though. Fold on!
I've had the same problem. Have no idea how much work I've lost because of it, but it's quite a bit. I think that is one of the main things that they are working on right now along with the connectivity trouble.
yeah its a pain in the butt. I have had it in the console, linux console and the systray one. It isn't consistent either.
