As many know, I am pretty much using my oc'd boxes for folding 24/7. Problem is the wife is not too keen on the cases all over the living room. Thus I find myself building a ten mobo case to hold them all. Won't go into the specifics at this time but am looking for a little help with a couple of small things. Figure momentary switches from rat shack will take care of the on/off duties but am not sure on a power light and a hard drive light. I would like to put these two lights on each layer and am not sure as too which lights, resistors or what not that might be necessary. Access to a rat shack is readily available but could use a little assistance in 'getting it right'. Figure to plug these lights into the mobo on each layer.

You can use standard 5mm LED's running of the mobo's power and HDD headers without a resistor. I checked the voltage of my asus board and it was 1.8V so a LED rated at 1.7T & 2.4 max works just fine. To make is easier, you could strip the power LED and HDD wires out of the old cases so you don't have to buy any connectors.

Thanks guys, was not sure on the voltage or the proper wiring. That should do the trick. Thanks again.
