Text larger than it should be for certain windows

My client's computer has a weird problem in that some text such as the norton window, perfectdisk window, and others have text or large text with no scroll bar; like if the window just got chopped off. Any tips?

I would think it is a font setting somewhere...

Have him click in the text field and then hold down his Ctrl Key while scrolling his mouse wheel up and down and see if it changes the text size.

I think their is something for fonts in desktop>properties

The font size is 96 DPI (Normal size)
But only in some windows is it broken, other windows are unaffected.
I will try that ctrl+ scrolling the mouse.
