A friend of mine gave me an old Creative Sound Blaster Live!
So i plug it in, boot up windows and the windows new hardware thing pops up, so i just keep closing them and i try to install the creative drivers, all is going well until another windows thing pops up as i was installing, it asks if i want to restart and i accidentaly clicked yes and it restarted my system while it was installing the creative drivers, now when i boot up windows it wont even say there is an unrecognized hardware or anything, its as if the sound card isnt there. How would i completely uninstalling all of the creative stuff and maybe even registry stuff so i can see my card in device manager again.

you did EVERYTHING it said? try going to registry and search for "creative" or "live!" and remove them.

i think it should be all in one place. might want to wait for someone who knows more about it than i do though :)
