I don't know how many of you have read this before, but this is news to me. Albatron has seemingly made a bridge card for AGP 8x to PCI-E 16. Albatron ATOP (AGP to PCI Express) (http://www.albatron.com.tw/english/news/news_detail.asp?news_id=167) I was wondering if any of you knew of this? Is there a decrease in performance? And how much would this cost? In the future I want to upgrade my motherboard, but I have an AGP 8x card. However I wanted a PCI-Express 16 slot on the motherboard as well to 'futureproof' it. This would solve my problem it seems. As long as there are no drawbacks. I only see 2 mobos on NewEgg that have an AGP 8x AND a PCI-E 16 slot. Might save good money.
