I'm new to this painting thing. Only thing I have painted are the walls of my home. I'm wondering what do I need to get started? What supplies do I need and where can I get ahold of these supplies? I'm actually mostly interested in painting the internal part of my PC(the metal/aluminum part), but either way I'd like to find out more about painting a PC. Any response will be appreciated.

The folks in the alternative modding section are the experts at such things...

you need to clean the surface (to remove dust and grease). Then you need to sand smooth sections (so the paint will stick). Prime the painted sections. Then paint. The most important thing is to be patient. Allow a lot of time for drying before applying a new coat. Im not a patient person, and so i have screwed up a lot of paint jobs.
