i'm having some issues getting my boss's laptop on the network. he said that it was working two weeks ago, but now when i try to find the network it says there are none available in the area. i checked the router and it has wireless enabled. i've done system restore, checked that the switch wasn't off on the lappy, and reinstalled the drivers, but i still can't connect. what am i missing here?
Did you try to repair the connection?
Did you double check that you have your DNS/Gateway settings for the wireless card pointing to your access points IP address?
Running firewall?
Does router have wep/wpa enabled?
maybe the router has failed. It happens... hardware does break down.

how far are you from the router, i have had similar problems with mine, so ijust brought a better router and it fixed it.
have you tried a reset on the router?

What are you using to discover wireless networks: Windows or the Software that comes with the driver?
If you are using windows make sure that prefered wireless is set to auto so that it can connect to Infrastructure and Adhoc networks.
