Glancing around these last few days, i have found 2 new high end radiators. first the black ice 2 (http://www.hwlabs.com/products/blackice2.htm) this thing is like the first one but 2 times a big. and this is one that was compeeting whith the big boys as a small one. The black ice 2 is supposed to remove something like 720KCal per hour (2856 BTU per hour) or 837Wh. thats up their like woh.

Second is the new danger den supper cube (http://www.dangerden.com/test/mall/radiators.asp). similar to the first one accept bigger, and has copper fins and, 120mm fan mounting holes. I have no idea how much heat this removes, but it looks like it fixed all the problems whith the old one and more.

I am getting close to being able to afford my setup. had it all designed, but now its all efffed up. if anyone has anything to add, or suggestions ot which is better, that would be kewl:D

I dont think I like the new dd cube =/

I dont think anyone besides some supercoolers out there use there radiator to the full potental

I do however like the holes for the 120mm fans though!!!
thats awesome I had to hack up my dd cube before I got the fans to fit just right

I wish they would make the holes for the old onr though=/

No one's really going to use a radiator fully without massive heat load, but with better radiators you can use quieter fans and not lose cooling efficiency as a result. Silent computers are nice.

Silent computers??? Next you'll be saying that it's possible for people to fly...

I can testify that the Cooling Cube can handle one 156 watt or one 172 watt pelt. Perhaps the Super Cube can handle two. I would expect at least couple of degrees Celsius drop with it in standard watercooling setups. This makes it a worthwhile addition to the line.

The Black Ice radiators are aluminum and require the use of antifreeze if you are using a copper waterblock, which reduces the efficiency of the coolant. Bad idea in practice.

i could have sworn they were copper, how else could they have performed so well and be so small:confused:
