I'm playing with the idea of putting togeather a new box. A water cooled box. Is there anything I can add to the water to make the water in the tubing glow under a blacklight? Thanks for the info!

I am circulating pure antifreeze. You can get it in green or orange, and both (at least the stuff I've tried) glow under blacklight. The only problem is that you have to have a seriously tough pump to handle the high viscosity. I'm using the pump from an refrigerated air conditioner condensate system.

Man, you shouldn't be using 100% anitfreeze, it has the crappiest conductance of heat. If anything use 70% water/30% anitfreeze. I am sure you would get 200% better temps with that mixture.

My temps can't get any better. They're at room temperature. The only way I could get better is if I went to peltiers or something, which I don't want to do because I would have to worry about condensation. I considered diluting it, but after testing, I found that pure antifreeze is also completely non-conductive. That way, should I spring a leak, nothing dies. I just have an incredible mess on my hands. I could dilute it with distilled water (theoretically non-conductive), but after a while it'd pick up bits of metal and stuff and become slightly conductive. Having just poured some cash into this machine, I don't want to risk frying it. I've been down that road before (my poor PIII, may it rest in peace.) Thanks for the suggestion though.
