Hi all!

does anybody knows the regular "cpu" P4 1.7Ghz temperature
and the maximum,
here's little info:
my current cpu temperature is: 47C/116F
system temp. is 37C/98F
and when I'm doing something I get a small warning from my motherboard when it reaches 60C/140F
I'm not sure should I change warning settings in bios

any help or comments are greatly appreciated

If you;re getting a warning of CPU load temps reaching or exceeding 60 degrees, then that's too hot. Fortunately, those P-4 CPUs have speed throttling to keep them from overheating to the point of causing damage, but that will cause the CPU to run slower. Dude, you need better cooling. Did you use the heat tape to mount your CPU heatsink? If so, take that crap off and use a good thermal paste. Maybe even consider getting a better CPU cooler and adding a couple more case fans.
