ok, i have a msi 6830 pro r mobo with a 1.33 gig and a 300 watt psu, cooling is great, and whenever i try to up the voltage, the cpu will turn on, but the screen wont turn on, and i end up having to turn off the psu, and i dont like having to do this, is all of this due to having a low powered PSU???

That means that your computer isn't actually booting...you can't run the voltage that high. It's too much for the processor. Better cooling would probably help that out some...
How much are you raising the voltage, anyway? And is it just the vCore your doing?

yea its just the vcore, i put it to 1.8 (normally 1.76) and it will boot, but it freezes before the screen turns on and its not the processor, because i have used more powerful PSU and it went to 1.85

I'd bet it's the PSU, a cheap power supply could cause problems at higher voltages. I had the same problem with a generic 300W, but it went away when I upgraded to a 431W Enermax.

it is an enlight 300w that came with the case
im gonna get an enermax 450 or something when i get a new case for watercooling
