athlon help

my athlon 1.2 is locking up when i run a lot of programs, but when i play games it doesnt lock up. the temp. is around 30C when it locks up. i dont understand this problem, anyone have any idea whats wrong with my cpu? or could it be something else? anyone know how to fix this?

What are the voltages like? What programs & what OS are you running?

the fact that its crashing when lots of programs are running,and yet not when playing games means its probably a memory problem.
games stress the CPU more,so its not the CPU or heat
try switching out memory,or removing dimms to test it out

it locks up when i overclock it also, it doesnt get hot, around 31C @ 1320 12 x 110...could it also be the memory?

seeing that you have pc133, i doubt it.
