Anyways, i ran the 3dmark2001se and got 12008 on
HP 3.0p4, 1gig, x600

is that a good score for a laptop or?

Why? I get about 4800 in 05 on my lappy... there are others getting nearly 8k with the 7800 GO.

the 03 and 05 are like 150mb download. this was only 35 hehe.

thats not too bad a score man, but there are a lot of new lappy's out there with cutting edge cards that do score a lot higher, but its not like your average guy/gal could afford them. I hope that your laptops performance is up to par with what you would like.

not like your average guy/gal could afford one eh? I managed to pick up my sweet system for less than 1300 ;) and then I went and put another $300 into 2gigs of ram and some wicked sick mods... I say that it is very affordable compared to those xps2 lappies that cost around $2500 or more... by the way I'm pulling around 4500 05 marks myself :D

the only reason why the other guy is able to pull 4800 is because he has an nv41 core and I'm stuck with a nv42 which for some reason refuses to clock as high...

this is my dads laptop. its HP but it was top of the line HP one when he picked it out.
Its ok for email and occasional dvd movie.
