I just took out my DVD-Rom out of my computer. It was my master drive and my cdrw is my slave driver. When I check in the bios is still shows up as my slave drive. How do I change this, and if I need to change the jumpers is their a thread the explains configuration becuase I have never had to mess with jumpers before.

The jumpers should be explained in the manual or peice of paper u got with your drive, or there should be labels such as "master" or "save" near the jumpers. It is quite simple to do. All that is needed is for you to pull out the jumper from the 2 pins it currently is connected to, and place back to the two pins that are labled "master".

jumper settings should be easy to determine. most are on the drive itself ( a little diagram).

Yes, and sometimes you have to go into the BIOS and set it to autodetect before its gravy.
