help please

i am thinking about buying neon string but it is only £2.60 a foot but with the inverter it is £27 with 5 foot, i was wondering if has an inverter so they could tell me the layout or someone could just tell me what to do, it is a 12volt inverter

You may possibly be able to run the neon off the PSUs
12V line?

you could run it off of the 12v line, but you'd have to make sure that the lights could run on DC current (batteries) because thats what comptuers run off of. The power supply is basically a large AC to DC converter.

thanks - i thought it ran off the +12 and needed some strange thing to make it run, i will just get some and attach it to a molex connector
