How many components are affected by raising the I/O voltage? I know the chipset and probably the ram... what about the agp/pci cards? Would running 3.9V be dangerous (even though my chipset is watercooled)?

i think everything is effected, i don't really know though as i only have had the option to change it on the board i have now

you are correct that it effect everything that is directly connected to the motherboard.

Well the default VIO should be 3.3
I run mine @ 3.5
anything past 3.7 I would be cautious

at 3.9Volts it not your chipset i would be wrring about..
Its your RAM. So if you do plan on running you VIO @ 3.9 watch your ram.

And Why do you need a 3.9 VIO anyways?
