Not sure if I would be better off getting PC3200 rated at CAS 2 or faster memory with higher latency.

Say something like this Corsair XMS (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145450) rated at 2-3-3-6 (and apparently is SPD specced at PC2700 speeds and with terrible timings so no doing it by SPD here) or this OCZ (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820146883) rated at 2-3-2-6?

All I know is that what I've got right now is crap?

Or should I get faster memory (say PC4000 or something) with crappier timings (say CAS 2.5 or even 3)?

Budget limit would be around $120-130 though obviously less expensive would be preferable. Basically would any of the PC3200 overclock to a point comparable to what the faster memory is with equal or better timings?

I would get some low latency memory, athlon 64 really do benifit from it, i have the OCZ memory my self and i cant really fault it. I dont think getting high speed memory will really be that good, i might be wrong tho.

I wasn't sure how the latency of the pc3200 RAM would change as I overclocked to a 250-300 FSB, at the moment I'm only around 250ish and I've had to cut my RAM back from 1:1 speeds. I think I'm at 157 or somesuch ATM.

Well look at my sig i have my ram running at nice timings and thats at DDR500 i think they could be a little better too.
