I designed and machined my own waterblock that seems to work extremely well and i can keep my temps below 38 no problem. So i can turn my multiplier up pretty nicely (without the voltage mod - will do soon anyway) but when i start turning up the FSB my system crashes. I am pretty sure that i need to cool the Northbridge better......are there any recommended HSF combos out there that work well for the Abit KT7A w/ Raid mobo. I tried the blue orb from thermalake and it didnt fit so i put it on my VC.

Does anyone have my board and have a better way to cool it than watercooling it also.....???

You're gonna have to take some of the fins out for it to fit. I also think it would be better to use thermal epoxy to stick it on then just the spring loaded clips as they DO NOT have enough pressure to make the contact work. Try mixing 1 part steal epoxy to 1 part ASII.

Either chop up an old heatsink then put a fan on it, or watercool it. since you already are watercooling your CPU this would seem to be the way to go.

You could also try a HS on your PLL chip. The PLL is what makes the FSB frequency, and if it gets too hot, it dosen't make a clean clock signal. But I'd stay with the Northbridge first....
