do fan filters reduce airflow drastically, i saw this low mesh aluminum one, what do you think?

I have been testing some filtering methods lately since I am ducting room air directly to my cpus: and yes the filters Ive tried do restrict flow a bit. !pc temps went up 1c, and the other went up 3 or 4c.

But this is with cheap stuff that is NOT intended for this use! I am very interested in any results you get, especially if it is very low cost.!!!
