...Sans CPUs!

Anyway, I wanted to put pics of my next Dual Processor system that I'll hopefully be modding extensively [at least the case]. Let me know what you think!

Specs:
BFG 7800 GT OC Videocard [$400, already had]
2x Opteron 248 CPUs [$412] (not arrived yet)
2x Scythe Ninja CPU coolers [$78]
Asus k8n-DL [$219]
2x Corsair XMS 512 MB registered memory [$122]

The damn scythe ninjas barely fit :o

They overlapped a mm or two, so I had to have one's fins over, one's fin under, so that they wouldn't push eachother off the CPUs. I'm hopefully going to bump the RAM up to 2GB a bit later too. I mounted the ninjas on empty sockets just for size purposes :P

I paid for the CPUs on monday from a guy on EBAY, but he still hasn't gotten back to me :bang head

I'll hopefully be adding 2x 120MM fans. The ninjas own!

UPDATE:

:mad: I got ripped out of $437 on ebay. Guy I bought 2x 248s had an auction that said "NEW" "UNUSED" "NEVER USED, etc" the CPUs that arrived had gigantic defects, bent pins, etc.

So yeah, I'm basically ****ed over there until I can buy new CPUs.

Oh man, that totally sucks. Any chance of getting money back through eBay or the guy? Hope you left some horrible feedback too. How much are the processors worth normally?

WOW, THose are some badass heatsinks!! Hopefully they dont rip off the plastic when mounted to the mobo tray. :D

Man, that dude on ebay really sux. You should atleast get your money back!

That really sucks man. If you paid via paypal using a credit card. I would skip trying to deal with paypal or ebay and go straight to your CC company
