First, I want to congratulate you guys on your 1st place position. Way to go. I know you had to overcome some obstacles to get there. You guys have some real dedication here.

Secondly, I have been poking around looking for something to replace EM until WeatherMan decides what to do. I found a program that works. I have only been able to get it to track 1 box so far and not anything on my LAN but it is supposed to be able to. The setup is a pain because it is a PERL application so you have to do several downloads and configuring to get it up and working, but it does work.

Here's a link to the site.

Use MS Word to open the Windows-Install & Install files once you unzip it.

Good luck in the future.

Thanks. It looks nice but like yousaid.... It's in perl and I don't have it installed on my machine anymore. The only thing I use perl for now is cgi scripts.

Just wanted to update on this post.

I have it installed, running and tracking a 4 box network. I had to e-mail the guy who wrote it to get a little help. He has updated the things I was in question about so it should be fairly simple for anyone to figure out. He said he is constantly working on it so only time will tell what it will evolve into.

Thanks for the reply ploaf. I was wondering if any of you guys were going to reply.

I guess in a way this post is my olive branch.
I hope you guys are all well. Congrats again on 1st place in the stats. Keep it up. :)

Hey 1g thanks for the tip. I'll have to get that program loaded later today.

I still consider all of you at aoa still friends although I wasn't around for very long before the switch over there.

Thanks for the kind words Lews. Your diplomacy is greatly appreciated. We are all part of the same big team, the Stanford team, with a common goal.

I wanted to let you guys know the author of the software has been dropping by AOA to help support us who have chosen to try it out He is a very nice guy. His Name is Din. He is with DSLR Team Helix. If you are having problems installing or using the software write him and he will write back. He answered my questions within hours the other day. He is constantly upgrading it to accommodate the problems users come up against.

Again ...Good Luck All !
