When I first got bf2 I installed it and it ran fine, it always did w/o a problem. Finally I decided to play with the video and sound settings doing so made my machine lock up. I had to restart by holding down the button. Doing so made windows corrupt so I had to reformat. After reformating no matter what I do I cannot get the game to run right. It will start up and then while the little advertisment screens are playing it will lock up for about 30 sec, bios will beep once, then it will continue on and repeat every so often then when trying to get into a server the whole game will close out. Anyone know wtf is up?
The machine is a nf3 250gb, 3200+, 9800pro flashed to xt, 512mb pqi turbo memory. It ran fine OC'ed at first. After the problem started I tried to run at factory speeds and still no solution.
