Now that the AXP has been out for a while and several of you have purchased them and have played with them in terms of OC'ing them, I am wondering what the final outcome is? There must be some concensous?
To be more exact, here is what I am talking about:
1. Some people have said they discovered the 1600+ seemed to be different from the others and that it may be unlocked, is this true? Or is the design and assempbly the same between them all?
2. Some have asserted there is little if any difference between the 1500 and the 1800+ and that they may in fact be the same chip but labeled differently and perhaps tested to determine the appropriate labeling? So has anyone really tried to OC the 1500 to see how high it will go?
The 1500 is a very affordable chip and if it will OC close to or eqaul to the 1800, it would be a real winner for the consumer.
