i have a 1.2 AXIA and my friend wouldn't mind trading with his new 1.0 AXIA since he's not an overclocker. what should i do? keep my 1.2 or trade it for the 1.0. i read the CPU database at overclockers.com but i just wanted to know from your peoples' opinions

I would check the overclockers data base and this data base aswell athlon (http://www.athlonoc.com/stepping2.php) its a tuff call cause they say the average 1.2 overclocks about the same on average as the 1.0. Personaly I would stay with the 1.2 cause I can go pretty high with mine , have you found a limit on your cpu yet?

You should check and see if the cpu's are AXIA#'s or AXIA_ letters and see if the chips are 200fsb or 266.

I've got 2 AXIA Y 1.2's and I get 1500 and 1474 with air cooooling.I just setup water coooooling but haven't got around to trying all my cpu's though.I also have a 1.0 AXIAR Y which I get almost 1500 with air also. It's hard to say but I think I'd stay with the 1.2.

Nope

I would trade it ,the axia 'Y' 1000 averages slightly higher then the axia 'Y' 1.2
here look for yourself

I would definitely check if it's a # or "Y". I had a 1.2 "9" that only got to 1.333. I returned that chip and got a "Y" and had it rock stable at 1533. (with volt mod)
