i was planning on buying a BenQ dvd burner and a Lite-on dvdrom for the computer im going to build, from newegg but they currently decided to stop selling them....so im looking for different optical drives and i need some suggestions......

Can't go wrong with NEC. I am using the 3550a and it has been nothing but great.

Lite-On also makes a good drive. Priced nearly the same as NEC at most online places, but you can't go wrong with either.
