I just installed Windows XP on my sig box (the Compaq), and the K6-2 I have is 450 MHz. Now, I installed WCPUID in XP, and it says I have something like 0.50 MHz !!! WTF ! Why ?!?!?!?

WOW....my old XT at 8MHZ could beat your Compaq :p

It has to be a bug in WCPUID, but a funny one.

I just can't stop laughing. I did a stupid thing not running the WCPUID on the old comp K6-III @ 450MHz when I installed WinXP...
What version of WCPUID u got try downloading the latest (3.0c)
version of this prog maybe that'll help ya.

*Edit: Oops my mistake u got the newest version... LOL.
Could you plz post a link to where can I download this ver.?
Try going back to an older version then?

i think its nice how compaq has once again proven that it can make nice running machines
i wonder what that would give against a bench of a tbird 1.4

Does it seem to be running properly? Or is it truly trying to run at .5MHz?

If it is running correctly then it's just a software glitch.

What does Sandra say?
