Do anyone try to used a adsl router modem to send file to another pc?
I mean ones pc use the Lan port , another pc use the usb port.

As long as they are on the same network, can't you jsut use shared folders?

It seems unclear how you have them connected. If it was clearer then it would be easier to help you.

That said, what about using FTP?

no you cant do what youre asking. however all you need to do what your asking is a crossover cable. itll lett you directly connect both PC's to each other.

You could just use a file storage service: upload the file onto your account from one computer and sign in and download it from that account on the other, although the other options mentioned are a whole lot faster, easier, and less of an aggravation if the computers are linked via network.

Most will not let you use both the USB port and the Lan port at tthe same time.

You will want to use a switch inbetween the router/modem and the computers if the router/modem is doing DHCP.

If the router/modem is not doing DHCP then you will need a router inbetween the router/modem and the computers.

Or you could hook the computers up directly to each other with a crossover cable.
