Basicly you need 2 stackable coupons, one is in the thread, you other play this simple game and click on a stalking sock, if you don't get a 100 off 1499+ purchae choose regift and click another sock.

I configured this for a tad over 1000 shipped and taxed:
1.73
512 (upgrade the RAM from newegg if you want more it's cheaper)
6800go
XP media center or home
60gb HDD
17" XGA+ (WUXGA available for 100 more...I personaly think that would make the image too small on a 17" screen....but that's up to you)
6 cell battery (just stick with this, if you want the 9...which I DO advise, get it off ebay for 70...and you'll have a spare too)
1 year warranty
I had to add a cover to make the price over 1499 so both coupons would work...your call, tons of small stuff to add, maybe a laptop carrying case/backpack I already have one.

This is a good deal for a nice laptop to game on or if you just want a large screen for watching movies while you travel. If you just want to watch videos, I suggest getting the 6800go and selling it for 200 bucks on notebook forums....might even be able to get more.

thats pretty good considering this setup usually costs ~$1200. if only this was available with the 7800go.

You can buy that for ~500 and flash BIOS, get a new brick and you basiclly have an XPS.

I got mine for about 1450 after 800$ off. :D

What's UXGA, and all that other crap mean?!

It's the screen resolution.

xga is 1024x768, sxga is 1280x1024, uxga is 1600x1200

W indicates that it's widescreen, for wxga it's 1366x768, wsxga is 1680x1050, wuxga is 1920x1200

wxga on a 17inch would be way too huge for me. I wouldn't get a wxga on a 17 inch laptop
