I'm looking to spend around $150 to watercool my cpu. I have never watercooled before, and i really don't know where to begin. What would you guys suggest?

Likely you will get more response in the watercooling section. I would save up a bit more and get the swiftech kit, best kit out there by far. http://www.jab-tech.com/Swiftech-H20-APEX-Extreme-Liquid-Cooling-Kit-pr-3041.html
I would check out the classifieds and ebay, then build a system on the cheap.
Example of cost for my wc system, mostly bought from classifieds:
MCP600 - $40
2 heatercores w/ 4 Sanyo Denki Fans - $30
10' Masterkleer tubing - $10
MCW6002 - $25
Polarflo GPU - $35
hoseclamps and fittings - $10
TOTAL - $150

I went with this system.. It's cheap, and there is nothing but good reviews on it.

waste of money. dont pay any atention to reviews . they are marketing hype. pay attention to what real people say in the forums. they are much more reliable.
nik already recommended the same kit i would have but i personally think you could stick around here for 2 weeks and read up a little and then make your own much cheeper than buying pre boxed kits.
your going to get alot of popularity for the swiftec, i asked this same question ^^
