ive got an athalon 1200 and i cant get it to overclock past 1430 @ 1.70 volts.... ive tried raising the voltage up to 1.85, but it wont do anything... ive got micron ram (cheap), and i was wondering if the crucial ram would help. right now i have the multiplier at 13 and the fsb at 110. any ideas???

First of all, that's a pretty good overclock. If you want to increase the fsb to 133 or higher, I would go with the crucial ram. (depends on your m/b) I can run stable at 1.4 with my default vcore, but to get to 1.475, I have to increase the vcore to 1.85. (1.92) Sounds like the ram may be holding you back, but it's still nice. :)

I noticed that the board you are using is based on the via kt133 chipset. These chipsets mostly crap out a about 110mhz or so. thats a nice oc, and it lokks like that chip has some nice poteintal. Do you happen to know the code/stepping of it?

ouch that is one super ship ... it is still running at its default vcore and it already has 230mhz +
ow ... i dont think its the memory ... although i would replace it
but like paul said the kt133 chipset is holding you back
