Hi!

After some serious modding of my old Asus 6800 Deluxe, I've pushed the engine clock as far as it goes in the tweak utility, but I know it gan go even further!
Is there a reg hack to give me the possibility of overclocking even higher?

Thanx!

Down the right hand column look for video cooling and performance.

I had one of those card but sold to go to a radeon 64 DDR vivo. You need better cooling as the card is your bottleneck in your system. I had mine as far as it would go but can not remember what I had it up to.

Best luck

In powerstrip I can push it a bit further, but I would really like to use the Asus tweak program, so I dont need yet another app running on my system.. No my core is at 175! Pretty good from stock 120..

When you overclock your memory you get better effect! Faster running games

..yes, but unfortunately my memory max out at about 330...

But hey, 175 core is pretty good!

And as long as Max Payne runs smoothly, I'm happy..

.... I'm really confused sometimes you say you clocked your memory to like 300... Is that right? I oced my mem to 210 max..! IS there a conversion or something .

the reason for confusion is probably DDR vs SD RAM. DDR is at double data rate, so it runs at double frequency. I don't know if you can directly compare speeds, so how much over stock speed is probably the best way to judge an overclock.

So, mine is:
Asus 6800 Deluxe
core 120@175
mem 300@330

Yodums, whats your stock mem clock?
