Hi,
I´ve more or less no experience in this field. What`s the better choice?
A Raid0 with 2 WD3200SB or 2 WD3200SD? Or no Raid at all? The ide versions are cheaper than the sata versions. Is there much difference in performance? If you make suggestions for other drives they will work 24/7 and the 1.000.000 MTBF are good too.

There is no real difference in speed between the two interfaces. In a two drive raid0 array both will be about the same. There could be differences in the raid chipsets that could be used and their implementation with say a four drive array and bandwidth limits.
