45c idle TOO HOT??

my tbird 1.2 gig at 1.7v is running at 45c idle almost 54c full load. Anything higher and im at 50 idle. I just ordered the alpha 8045 so I hope that will help right now Im just using the generic coolermaster rated for 1.4 ghz with the bottom lapped and a ystech 60mm fan on top. the only positive thing is that I have my fsb running stably at 171 just need to get my temps under control so I can get my processor above the 1.2 mark

that is not high for a tbird, especially since you have a crappy HSF, yea thats pretty much all the reason its so hot, and that ALPHA will help soo much as long as you have a good fan on top and AS2 on the bottom is good also
