It should, find out what the controller speed of your computer is though (probably ATA66).
Either way, even if they don't match, it will work. I have a 40GB Seagate ATA100 in a computer with an ATA66 mobo.
I'm running on a 600mhz P3 (at 690mhz) and I find it SLOW. Especially compared to the new offerings, which I haven't used much (yet).

It matters what your motherboard is. Pentium 3 onward should work with drives in excess or 32GB.
my old PII 400 didn't recognize anything over 32GB however.
