I just talked to a guy on the internet and he told me he has a P-3 1.3GHz!!!! He doesn't overclock as far as I know.... Is it true? I was to the Intel site and just saw a max speed of 1.2GHz. What's going on?!

*Shrug* ... Maybe he's an Intel tester or something Intel probably has them developed but never annouced them ... Maybe they're still under testing or something I have no idea, those are my guesses.

There is a Tualatin with 1.26 GHz.....if you round it up that would be .....mmmmm..... 1.3 GHz.

I sent him the WCPUID prog...
He told me he would run it and make a screenshot and send it my way. When I get it I'll post it here, and finally we'll know if it exists.
When I went to Intel web site I only saw a MAX. speed of 1.2Ghz for the P-III... Strange.

Hi,

if you ask me, it's more likely that he has a P4 1300 MHz and he accidently told you that it's a P3!

I doubt it... They'd probably eventually make a longer convo and he'd pick up that he were to say p3 instead of p4..
